KidZone Volunteer Opportunities

Set-Up / Tear-Down

Volunteers who help transform the classroom space at Durham into a children's ministry and then back again.  This job requires nothing more than time before and after church.

Hall Monitors

Need: 5

Each Week, we have a hall monitor who maintains the security at KidZone during the main service.  This job requires time and a keen eye during church.

Elementary Volunteer Opportunities

Small Group LeadersNeed: 4 teams of 2 to serve one week a month or a month at a time.

Come connect with a small group of kids and make a difference.  Lead discussion groups and application time.  Get to know their families, send them birthday and Christmas cards, and model a life of faith to them.

Lead TeachersNeed:  4 teams of 2 to serve one week a month or a month at a time.

Share the responsibilities of classroom facilitator/storyteller/host and worship for each Sunday morning event.

Preschool Opportunities

P1 (18 - 36 months) & P2 (3 yrs potty trained - Pre-K)

Lead Teachers

Need: 1 P1 & 1 P2 lead teachers to join rotation of once a month teaching teams

Do you have a heart to teach pre-schoolers?  Curriculum, art materials, music and children are provided.  Come hlep us teach the Gospel and model community for our kids.

Assistants in both P1 & P2

Little friends, little snacks, and silly games.  Though your ministry to children is valuable, we expect you'll have as much fun as the kids do!  You'll also help set up, clean up, and assist in classroom management.

Nursury Opportunities

Come be the joyful face and gentle comforter that will hlep our babies learn to love our community!  Toy and little ones will be provided!
